Nearly two in three renters don’t believe they could buy a home they want in the foreseeable future, according to the report. About 71% of those making less than $50,000, 64% of those earning between $50,000 to $99,999, and 57% reeling in $100,000+ all agree they won’t be able to purchase property. The housing crisis touches all Americans, regardless of income. Plus, U.S. women are especially downtrodden, with 70% of women versus 59% of men doubting they’ll be able to afford a house.
